FOLLOWING the much-anticipated launch of the Cotswold Hare Trail, a reader from near Lechlade sent in a collection of photos after tracking the hares up to Cirencester and back down to Cricklade.
Having spotted the Standard’s calls for any snaps of hares on the new trail in last week’s paper, Kim Kyte and her daughter Adele went all out.
The pair spent last Sunday following the trail, with Kim taking photos of Adele posing with each hare on the way.
“We started just outside Lechlade, where we live, went to Fairford, Cirencester, Ashton Keynes and Cricklade,” said Kim.
“We intend doing other areas on other days when we are free,” she added.
The 85 hares have been decorated by different artists and are spread across the Cotswolds, with the trail running until September.
If you have seen any of the hare sculptures then we want to hear from you.
Send photos of the hares (you can be in the photo if you like), and we will use as many photos as we can, in the paper and online.
Email photos to wgsnews@wiltsglosstandard.co.uk.
