- FURTHER representations have been made to Gloucestershire Highways and our county and district councillor to highlight the state of Siddington Road from the junction with South Cerney Road all the way to Bridge Road. More patching has been carried out to deal with the worst potholes but this can only be a temporary measure. The most recent news is that the utilities company planning to dig up a wide stretch, with ancillary pipes into properties along the road, should complete that work by the end of June, leaving the way clear for Highways to carry out the resurfacing. In the meantime residents are urged to report potholes via the Gloucestershire County Council website, gloucestershire.gov.uk/reportit/potholes.
- SIDDINGTON Sports FC fixtures this week are an away game for the first team at Poulton this evening (Thursday) and two away games for Siddington Vets, the first at The Beeches on Saturday, April 16 and the second at Kingshill on Tuesday, April 19.
- HOLY Communion takes place at St Peter’s Church on Sunday, April 17, starting at 10am.
- THE St Peter’s flower arranging team would like to thank everyone who came along to the coffee morning on Saturday, April 9. A total of £270 was raised, which will be used to buy flowers and foliage for the flower festival in June.
