AN ELDERLY woman had her handbag stolen from her home when she was tricked by a man posing as a water board worker.
The man came to the 89-year-old woman's home in London Road, Cirencester at 11.30am on Friday, April 13.
When he entered her house he refused to show any identification when asked and grabbed her handbag containing £30 to £40 in cash and a door key.
The woman suffered bruising to her hand as a result.
The conman is described as a white male between 20 and 30 years old with short dark brown hair.
He was wearing a fluorescent orange or yellow tabard and gloves.
