A MAN has appeared in court on charges of burgling an elderly woman in Long Newnton near Tetbury.
John Anthony Delaney, 35, of Thames Road, Cheltenham, attended Gloucester Crown Court on Friday, April 17.
He is accused of burgling an elderly woman’s home in Long Newnton on the afternoon of Friday, March 27, stealing an antique clock, silver candlesticks, a Chinese bowl and two gold rings.
He will appear again at the court for a preliminary hearing on May 15.
