Cirencester Town's reserve goalkeeper Alex Hards has made a solid start to his loan spell at Devizes Town.
The 21-year-old, standing in for Devizes' injured player-manager Paul Thompson, pulled off several outstanding saves to deny Bideford's Ellis Laight and Matt Hare in his first match on Saturday.
Devizes eventually lost to a 65th minute goal from Robbie Gough but Hards' debut has given former Ciren keeper Thompson some comfort as he awaits news over his treatment for torn knee ligaments.
