THE Met Office has issued a Yellow Alert of Wind for Wiltshire, South Gloucestershire, Swindon and Gloucestershire valid from midnight tonight, Saturday, to 12 nooon tomorrow, Sunday.
A yellow wind alert warns that some tree branches may be brought down, localised travel disruption may occur and there may be localised problems for high side vehicles.
Motorists are advised to drive with extra care, especially on exposed routes, and to be aware of the possibility of debris being blown around.
