DRIVERS are being warned to “think not sink” as the second bout of severe weather hits North Wiltshire in the space of two days.
Roads are already being closed due to flooding and fallen trees and householders in flood risk zones are advised to call Floodline 0845 988 118 or monitor the Environment Agency website environment-agency.gov.uk where more advice is available.
Wiltshire Council highways teams are on standby with emergency services to tackle floods and incidents caused by the forecast high winds.
People can report flooding in their properties or on roads by calling 0800 232323 from a landline, 01225 777234 from a mobile or 999 in an emergency.
