Eric John Downs

DOWNS Eric John Squadron Leader RAF, MBE. Born in Bermondsey, 24th September 1921, died peacefully at home, aged 102, on 18th October 2023. He joins his wife, Mavis "Jimmy" Binnington (born 15th August 1928) who died on 12th September 2017. Both much loved and survived by their children John, Anita and Jennifer, their six grandchildren, six great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Funeral service to be held at Kingsdown Crematorium, Kingsdown Road, Swindon on Wednesday 15th November at 1.30 pm. Family flowers only please.
