TAILFORD Cedric (Ricky) The Tailford family is sad to announce the death of Cedric "Ricky" Tailford at 2:30 am on Saturday 15th October 2022. He died peacefully at his home in Cuneges, France after a long battle against illness. His wife Marie was, as always, by his side. A service, followed by cremation, took place in Bergerac last Friday. Marie, his three sons and a few British and French family and friends were in attendance. At a later date (to be advised) an event in celebration of Ricky's life will be held in Fairford; the town he was proud to call home for over 33 years and where he served as Town Mayor and where he was also the founder of the Fairford Festival and joint founder of Fairford Youth FC.
