ST JOHN'S Players present At The Sign Of The Crippled Harlequin, a thriller by Norman Robbins, in Churchdown from November 14-18.
The play is a diverse mix of genres and doesn’t have a traditional sleuth, as is normal for this type of play.
Indeed, the police themselves, only get a mention once, and then only after they have left the building, with the author preferring to leave both of these roles to the audience, who are tasked, at every twist and turn, to decide who is guilty of what, and why.
All the characters display strengths and weaknesses in turn, and for most, there is history that links them all.
The various elements of the multiple plots converge towards a final conclusion that will send a shiver down your spine.
- See At The Sign Of The Crippled Harlequin at St John’s Hall, St, John’s Avenue, Churchdown on Tuesday, November 14-Saturday 18. 7.30pm.
- Box Office 01452 857371 or EventBrite.co.uk.
