THIS year marks the 10th anniversary of Chesterton Art Group and the exhibition to mark this event is taking place at the Pop Up Gallery, New Brewery Arts in Cirencester from October 9-15.
Formed in 2007 to bring together a group of enthusiastic amateur artists from around the Chesterton area, the group has gone from strength to strength, providing opportunities for local people to develop their skills in painting and drawing.
Over the years we have enjoyed the expertise and guidance of a number of tutors, several of whom have become regular visitors to the group.
The anniversary exhibition will feature a wide variety of artwork ranging from watercolour, oils, acrylic and pastels to pen and wash, pencil and ceramics demonstrating the breadth of interest of the group.
The group is grateful to all those who have supported them throughout the years particularly the New Brewery Arts for providing a popular venue for the exhibition.
As a community group we welcome members of all ages and abilities, giving them an opportunity to make like minded friends and draw inspiration from each others’ work.
The Chesterton Art Group meet regularly at St Lawrence Church in Chesterton.
Visitors welcome.
