A TRAGIC story of betrayal and lust, love and lies, Puccini's Tosca is a masterpiece and Ellen Kent & Opera International are arriving at the New Theatre, Oxford on Sunday (APR 29) with the award-winning Chisinau National Opera.
The sets are rich, grand and lavish; this passionate production boasts a large cast and full orchestra with a boy's choir inside the church of Sant' Andrea della Valle.
The company is 170 strong with international soloists including Natalia Margarit and the celebrated Moldovan baritone Vladimir Dragos will sing Scarpia. Sung in Italian with English surtitles.
