A WORKSHOP and a car went up in flames late this afternoon near Bourton-on-the-Water.
Passing drivers alerted firefighters to a suspected barn fire just off the A436 at around 4.39pm today, around three miles from Bourton-on-the-Water.
On arrival, a car was found to be engulfed in flames and the fire had spread to a nearby workshop.
Crews from Stow-on-the-Wold fire station battled the blaze and managed to save around 85 per cent of the 10m by 20m workshop from damage, but the car was completely burnt out.
