HUNDREDS of customers, including some local celebrities, flocked to a popular home retailer store in Cirencester to celebrate a special milestone.

The dedicated team at Gardiner Haskins in Dyer Street, Cirencester dressed up in their grooviest attire to welcome visitors to their Family Fun Day on Saturday, April 20 to celebrate the store's 45th anniversary.

Families, loyal customers and friends took part in a range of activities such as arts and crafts, sunflower planting and a store trail throughout the day.

The children were also treated to a visit from Spiderman, Anna and Barbie and happily munched on pizza which was made during a live Ooni food demonstration in the car park.

Meanwhile, a raffle, tombola, face painting by Erica from Art Vision Events and a guess how many balls in the bath competition helped the shop raise more than £1,100 for Cirencester Food Bank.

Beloved brother and sister duo Charlie and Daisy May Cooper, who star in BBC's hilarious sitcom This Country, also attended the event to show their support.
