As the summer comes to an end, many people are left with happy memories of days spent at the Cirencester Open Pool, writes Robert Heaven.
Since it first opened in 1869 many generations of Ciren folk have enjoyed the simple pleasures of a swim, a mug of tea and a rock cake.
