THE A417 near the Air Balloon roundabout has now reopened following a van fire incident which occurred earlier today.
The road was closed between the A436 Air Balloon Roundabout and the A419/A429 so that the emergency services could deal with the incident.
National Highways has now announced that the A417 has now been re-opened in both directions.
A spokesperson for National Highways said: "The scene is now clear and the A417 has re-opened in both directions between the A436 and the A419/A429 near Birdlip following a van fire.
"Thank you for your patience, please have a safe onward journey."
