With a number of incident already reported, police want to remind motorists how to report flooding or fallen trees.
If the flooding or fallen tree isn't a direct emergency, is on easily visible and not on a key road to ring 101.
If the incident is on a key road, isn’t easily visible or on a corner and poses an immediate risk to call 999.
Police are working with Highways today to remove branches/trees from roads and place signs.
The Force Control room twitter account will have updates throughout the day of all incidents.
Officers on rural patrols are attending a number of road traffic collisions. High winds, fallen trees and foliage is contributing to treacherous driving conditions on the county's roads. Slow down, give yourself more reaction time so that you arrive safely #gethomesafely. pic.twitter.com/U8hidJMysI
