THOUSANDS turned out for an annual duck race and street fair that took place on Bank Holiday Monday, May 28.

The South Cerney Duck Race and Street Fair, is a popular community event, featuring a whole day of fun leading up to a famous duck race.

Hundreds of ducks race down the River Churn avoiding obstacles with the aim of finishing first and being crowned champion.

It has been running for more than 30 years now after the Street Fair was started by All Hallows church.

The community event raises funds for All Hallows church and other charities and clubs within the village.
