  • NOTHELACH Historical Society’s next talk is on Wednesday, April 6, 7.30pm at the Westwoods Centre. David JH Smith, former Gloucester County Archivist, tell the stirring story of William Tyndale and the King James Bible. The dying prayer of the great Gloucestershire scholar William Tyndale when he was burned at the stake in Flanders in 1536 was that the English King’s eyes would be opened to the need for Bibles in English. Members or £3 for visitors.  
  • NORTHLEACH Run will be held on Sunday, May 22 and the start and finish will be from the Northleach primary School car park. The 3km starts at 10am followed by the 10km at 11am. Walkers are most welcome to enter the 10km and they will start at 10. 30am. There will be refreshments provided by the FONSP and entertainment from the Silver Sambistas. You can download the registration form from our website northleachrun.co.uk and copies will also be in the local Northleach shops. Proceeds to Walking with the Wounded and Northleach Primary School.
  • HOW long is a piece of string? Come along to a children’s flax making workshop on Friday, April 8 from 10:30am-4pm at the Old Prison. A free drop in session where children can learn about how string and rope is made and have a go at making some themselves. Enquiries to Rachel on 01451 862035.
