ELEVEN fire fighters were scrambled to a car which was on fire near Northleach last night.
At 20:52 the fire service received a number of calls reporting a car fire on the A40 near Northleach.
A crew of six fire fighters were mobilised from the Northleach Retained fire station with a further five from Cheltenham East fire station.
When the fire fighters arrived the car was “well alight” and they had to fight the blaze with two hose reels and breathing apparatus.
The fire was confirmed as accidental and nobody was hurt.
The car was towing a caravan but it was undamaged.
