A CALL has gone out to motivated budding entrepreneurs in our area.

Cirencester Town Council's successful YOUTH (which stands for ‘Youngest to Oldest and Upcoming, Trading in Harmony’) Market returns to the Market Place on Saturday, June 15.

This exciting event aims to support young entrepreneurs, businesses and traders by showcasing regional talent alongside Cirencester's seasoned traders.

The market will provide budding business owners with a platform to test out their innovative ideas and the chance to sharpen their sales skills.

Applications are open now to anyone aged between 16 and 30 who lives in the South West region.

Amongst those that have already booked their pitch are Mai Design UK, Sew Eco, Daisies and Bees Designs, ASHK London, and Wintour Accessories.

This event also offers a great opportunity for fundraising activities.

Last year Cirencester Deer Park School students, who were fundraising for a Ghana trip to help build a school, participated in the event.

Each stall will cost £20 to hire.

Cllr Sarah Orr said: “There are some motivated and talented young entrepreneurs in the area and we’re delighted to be able to provide this excellent opportunity to help them grown and develop.

"We’re looking for people aged between 16 and 30 who have created a new product or started their own business.

"If you or someone you know would be interested  in getting involved, please get in touch.”

If you would like to host a stall please email markets@cirencester.gov.uk.
