Volunteers have helped transform the playground of a Cirencester charity.
Earlier this month The St. James’s Place (SJP) Charitable Foundation hosted a five-day volunteering challenge at Cirencester Opportunity Group (COG).
Around 250 volunteers from within St. James’s Place volunteered their time to transform the outdoor and playground areas at COG into an enriching and stimulating environment for the children.
Cirencester Opportunity Group is an independent charity providing integrated education for preschool children and support for their families, enabling children with special needs to play and learn with other children.
SJP’s relationship with COG began in 2016, and since then, they have supported with funding, skills sharing and volunteering.
The St. James’s Place Charitable Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the St. James’s Place Wealth Management Group.
It has been supporting those in need since 1992, making a positive and lasting difference to people’s lives by awarding grants to registered charities in the UK and overseas to assist them in the incredible work they do every day.
